A Certified Sommelier with the Court of Master Sommeliers, a seasoned veteran of the hospitality industry holding management positions in restaurants and luxury resorts before moving to wine country. He has worked in Napa, Sonoma and Amador County working with wineries in direct to consumer sales and marketing capacity sharing his passion of wine and food.
He is an entrepreneur in essence opening several wine and food venues across the Southwest. Including: LaTache World Bistro & Wine Bar in Scottsdale, Golden Vine Winery in Disney’s California Adventure, Folio Enoteca in the Oxbow Public Market in Napa, Amador Vintage Market, Amador 360 Winery Collective and Amador Wine Shipping.
Schooled at Le Cordon Bleu in London and the CIA Wine Education Program in Napa Valley, Kate is passionate about bringing wine, food and people together. She’s been a winery chef in the Santa Cruz Mountains, culinary instructor in San Francisco and developed the events program and curriculum for The Napa Valley Reserve.
Kate worked with 3500 Wineries selling for Henry Wine Group in Napa Valley and most recently was Sales Director for Larkmead Vineyards in Calistoga.
A salesman at heart, with a passion for eating and drinking wine, Kate has cooked, wined and dined her way to Sacramento.
